By harnessing the power of microwave radiation through a patented plasmatron array in the reactor, waste feedstocks and other carbonic materials are heated until they are heavily ionized, forming a cloud of plasma point in the material. The carbonic material feedstock molecules get separated and the clouds of plasma points react with superheated water vapor in order to recombine and as a result produce a synthesis gas and an inert slag. The gas is then purified and some of it can be re-fed through the reactor to achieve a complete transformation into carbon monoxide and hydrogen.
